HARIO X MONIN Collaboration Recipe Part 1

It's that time of the year again! With the COVID-19 restrictions, events has been tough for everyone, and now seemingly things are slowly back to normal. We are back to FHA 2022 HoReCa, located at Hall 2 (Booth 2E2-01)

Recipe 1 - PSP Milk Brew Coffee

Does coffee go well with purple sweet potatoes? There is no doubt that purple sweet potatoes are known for their antioxidant properties. Wouldn't it be great if we added coffee that has caffeine added to it? This is a fun collaboration using Monin's new Purple Sweet Potato syrup and coffee to create an amazing treat.

Ingredients

1L Milk / Oat Milk

90g ground Brazillian Toucano Bourbon

150ml Purple Sweet Potato Syrup

 How to:

  1. Mix Syrup with Milk well in cold brew pitcher 
  2. Add beans to strainer compartment 
  3. Add both, let steep for 10-12 hours
  4. Remove beans and mix well before serving
  5. Pour beverage in cup over ice 
  6. Garnish with purple sweet potato chips

Recipe 2 - Yuzu Coffee Tonic

Feeling like you need some iced coffee to cool you down? It's the perfect coffee for a hot day that is sweet and tangy, with notes of Yuzu. It can be made using filtrated iced coffee.

Ingredients

30ml Ice Filtered Coffee

60ml Tonic

5ml MONIN's Yuzu Fruit Mix syrup

Options

Ice Filter Coffee14grams coffee, pour over ice (80g ice, 100ml hot water)

 How to:

  1. Mix MONIN's Yuzu Fruit Mix with small amount of tonic water, stir well until combined
  2. Add ice and pour over remaining tonic water, mix gently
  3. Pour over ice filtered coffee gently, keeping separation  (Hario MUGEN )
  4. Add garnish

Recipe 3 - WasabiMami

Coffee no longer intrigues you and you want to explore different types of tea? Wasabi-flavoured tea will satisfy your cravings! It is a light and refreshing drink with a touch of Wasabi to excite your senses.

Ingredients

10ml MONIN's Yuzu Fruit Mix Syrup

80ml Cold Brew Green Tea Leaves

1 barspoon lemon

1 barspoon wasabi

Thin Sliced Cucumber via peeler

Options

Cold Brew Green Tea – 1L water, 15 grams tea leaves, let steep for  6-8 hours 

How to:

  1. Pour in all ingredients into glass
  2. Stir well with ice
  3. Garnish inner side of glass with long, thin-sliced cucumber as garnish
